June Calendar and best practices

Happy End of School year and welcome Summer!

We are proud of our students this week, helping them transition, and glad to see a strong crew returning for a big MTN School Summer.

Opportunity for paperwork in person first two mornings. Two Rivers Community School at 195 Center Drive.

Please be on time with a mind to the overall group and occasional early departures Dropoff 8AM to 815AM, sometimes earlier for big trips. Pickup between 430PM and 5PM

Please send kids with sun-protective clothing, hats, sunscreen. (No spray sunscreen!) Tank tops highly discouraged. Clothing is better for sun protection than multiple reapplications of sunscreen.

Please send a frozen water bottle and a liquid one :) Please send lunch and snacks, trying to avoid bulky lunchboxes which are often lost and disregarded.

River-friendly sandals are always needed. Shoes always needed for biking. Prepared kids are happiest with both.

Please do not send smart phones, tablets, or other tech. Smart watches do not always help us expedite the pickup process.

We have a range of overnight trips planned. Some are for particular age groups. Bogan Flats July 17-19 will be for everyone and we WILL NOT HOLD DAY CAMP DURING THOSE DATES.

This blog will be our preferred method of communication, and it is fairly easy to sign up for the "Dine" app which will allow for notifications. We will try to communicate just the right amount, but sometimes we will gush with passionate verbosity :)

Please ask us in person about after-school options at each of the local schools next year. Space is limited.
